Look!  He's awake!  He's upright!  He's in a cabinet!

He particularly loves to nestle down on the sofa if you leave a sheet or a throw lying there for him to pummel into submission.  This is the customary result:

If the pictures here are any indication, it would appear that all Fergus ever does is sleep--albeit cutely.  I can only assure you that he is a very active cat; it's just easier to photograph him when he's semi-conscious.

Any unoccupied cardboard boxes left lying around the house will be quickly claimed; Fergus was first to get to this particularly choice box.  The other cats wisely respected his property rights.

Behold the exquisite stripeyness of flank and tail.  But do it quietly; he's sleeping.

He was about six months old when this was taken.  He's so cute it exhausts my powers of description.
